Kaptai Lake
Kaptai Lake is a man-made lake which happens to be the largest lake in Bangladesh. It is Rangamati’s main attraction. With a smooth cruise on a boat ride, you can explore the small islands lying on the lake’s vast expanse. Sprawled among these islands are beautiful Buddhist temples, historic monuments, natural landmarks, and great picnic spots.
One of the most popular destinations is Shuvalong Falls which can be reached via boat within 90 minutes (one way). Don’t worry about the travel time as you will surely be entertained by the breathtaking view of the hilly landscape of southern Bangladesh. Parjatan Hanging Bridge
On your boat ride along Kaptai Lake (or by land), you can also make a stop in one of Rangamati’s most famous landmarks – the Parjatan Hanging Bridge (Jhulonto Bridge).
